Extract (Balloon Flower Root) is used to eliminate phlegm, relieve cough, reduce inflammation, lower blood pressure and sugar and improve immune system.

Bamboo leaf
Many different flavone glycosides in bamboo leaves have demonstrated antioxidant activities. Bamboo leaf extract is used for asthma, cough and gallbladder problems

Grape seed/vine
The grape seed extract is an excellent source of antioxidants. It contains high concentrations of oligomeric proanthocyanidin (OPC), which can reduce free radical damage of blood vessel cells and protect against cardiovascular diseases. Grape is also a major source of resveratrol. Resveratrol affects the activity of enzymes named sirtuins. Sirtuins play essential roles in a myriad of biological pathways that related in aging process. Resveratrol is used for “hardening of the arteries” (atherosclerosis), lowering “bad” (LDL) cholesterol levels, increasing “good” (HDL) cholesterol levels, and preventing cancer. In addition, it may protect nerve cells from damage and the buildup of plaque that can lead to Alzheimer’s, as well as prevent diabetes.

Kudzu
Kudzu contains a number of isoflavones and its extract is widely used to treat alcoholism and to reduce symptoms of alcohol hangover. Kudzu is also beneficial for heart and circulatory illness, including high blood pressure, irregular heartbeat, and chest pain; for upper respiratory infections including sinus infections, the common cold, hay fever, flu; and for skin aliments, including allergic skin rash, itchiness, and psoriasis.

Pine bark

Its main active components are ganoderic acids, a group of triterpenes that resemble steroid hormones. Reishi extract is used for boosting the immune system. It can also help prevent high blood pressure and high cholesterol.

Polygonum cuspidatum
Polygonum cuspidatum, also known as Japanese knotweed, is important concentrated sources of resveratrol.
